Recent research data from 20 domestic copper tube enterprises show that over 60% of them expect their orders to weaken in July.
63% of copper tube enterprises are further pessimistic about the order situation in July. From the perspective of the rotary compressor market, which is closely related to refrigeration copper tubes, the output in June decreased by 5.3% month-on-month, the sales volume decreased by 7.6% month-on-month, while the inventory increased by 10.91% year-on-year (data source: Industrial Online). It can be seen from this that in July, both copper tubes and compressors in the refrigeration industry are facing considerable consumption pressure. In addition, as the consumption market for refrigeration tubes turns sluggish, the pressure of market competition has begun to increase. Some copper tube enterprises, in order to maintain stable production during the off-season cycle, have started to increase cross-regional sales, causing some enterprises that had no intention of adjusting prices for sales to voluntarily reduce their production plans.
37% of copper tube enterprises indicated that the operating rate had dropped significantly in June, and they would strive to maintain a stable order intake and production in July. Recently, the shipment pressure of household air conditioners has increased. Some air conditioner enterprises have begun to slow down their production pace and enter the summer break. The demand for central air conditioning and air conditioning pipes for maintenance remains relatively stable. Some enterprises have indicated that they will slightly adjust their order structure to fulfill their production plans for the month.
